前新北市議員顏世雄因貪汙案定讞，被判9年有期徒刑，依法解除顏世雄職務，依中選會規定顏世雄的職缺，由當年選舉落選頭廖秀雄擔任。新北市議會今天上午舉辦宣示就職典禮。

廖秀雄表示，接下顏世雄僅剩10個月的任期，將全力以赴，至於是否角逐今年年底的市議員選舉，他說，7 月若是搬家，就顯示他想競選的決心。
