【環資報導】海溫上升 北海魚類「縮水」了

根據最新研究，北海部分魚類物種體型縮小可能和海水溫度升高有關。科學家發現，隨著海水溫度升高，北海的魚類物種40年來體長縮水了29%。

魚的體長縮小可能也和食物多寡和捕撈增加有關，但是阿伯丁大學漁業科學家認為，許多物種「同時」體型縮小，應和氣候變遷有關，尤其是海水溫度的上升。

科學家發現，北海海水溫度在38年間上升了1℃至2℃，同一期間，黑線鱈、沙鮻魚、鯡魚、挪威鱈、鰈魚和比目魚的最大體型縮小了29%。研究主要作者、阿伯丁大學生物科學院研究員Alan Baudron說，「我們的分析顯示，大部分我們研究的魚種，尤其是黑線鱈、沙鮻魚、鯡魚、挪威鱈、鰈魚和比目魚，在這段期間內都出現最大體長縮短的現象。」（江惟真、蔡麗伶／綜合外電報導）
